[I Said NO]

It was nice.

The voice acting for Jessi was really good it's just a shame about the mic. Also i get the impression Riley is really in touch with his feminine side. He has a slightly uk accent, he fusses about spilled redbull on a couch, and he refuses a girl to offering to go to the shower with him! Which is all fine by me, but the skull on his back seems a bit out of place. But i guess since the jacket doesn't go down to his waist ... never mind it does suit him :P.
The humor was good but the line "does that even compute" didn't do it for me. I imagined Riley going into an elaborately eloquent plea as to why not only to find jessi chasing a micky mouse head shaped helium gas filled balloon or somthing. Just my two cents.
BTW i get the impression you're rather unsure about your voice acting (- "if you think you can do a better job than this" -) but i swear it's completely fine, some of the better work i've heard around here so a better mic is all you need.

I am really self-conscious about the voiceacting, because when people say they hated it, I'm not sure if they mean the mic or me. XD;
Oh golly thank you for noticing so much...you're really observant, you know that? I asked the voiceactor for Riley to put a very slight UK twang in there, simply because I thought it reflected his pompus ways a little better.
Haha oh here we go...he's not gay, I promise, but I do have a bisexual character so I'm by no means against gays! Riley is sort of a meterosexual, and he is vain. He likes gold, a rather unhealthy obsession, and is somewhat of a neat-freak with a temper to boot!
And he's uncomfortable with Jessi's advances because they've been friends for so long, he almost feels brotherly towards her. AWKWAAAARD!
Thanks so much, and your two cents worth is more like twenty cents, I thought it was a neat idea! <3

A subtle thing that makes it clever?

I'm not catching on, i feel dissastisfied. Is it that he got on and off at the same place, just to enjoy the ride? It already seemed more like a rollercoaster to me. Seems a bit simple tough. The guys head looks like that of a spermatozoid and the tracks are kinda organic and tubular ... but thats just my messed up mind working right there ... i suspect.
On to the actual review then. I can appreciate this, but i had difficulty keeping focused towards the end and some scenes i was wondering whether or not i had already seen them. It just didnt pique my interest enough, but thats just me.
The song is well composed but maybe if it would build up to reach a climax towards the end it would be less boring. Considering it's made with garageband and a keyboard it's pretty impressive. I really like the art, the organic style and animation. (esp the bird).

It's not bad but ...

It can use some improvements, first off, the scenes are too long/slow. You can counter this by playing dialog from different angles, have something happening in the background ... etc. The filesize thing is too bad, but you might want to consider making your window larger anyways, and divide the submissions up in parts. You can also try animating expressions while communicating, like having the head move, shoulders shrug instead of just the mouth while talking.

[Not so Funky]

Not as good as it's predecessor.

I still like the style and effects, and the animation of the bird is awesome too. But the fiddling cat still doesn't seem right, with the tweens it's less appealing than in the previous movie imo.

It's really good.

This movie just feels right, the style and the music go together very well. The effects were really awesome. Only the animation of the actual movement of the cat seems pretty stale, it's very hard and time consuming to make it look smooth but i think it's worth it since now it doens't do justice to the overall quality of the movie.

This movie was created for a contest on biteycastle and the author was allowed the use of the Brackenwood characters. The movie itself was pretty short, but its a nice ecard. Good work.

this whole thing is great but one things bugging me: bitey just threw a rock at the 'pecklizard' or whatever it is but if i were him i would GRAB IT BY THE TAIL, BREAK IT'S NECK AND KEEP TRNING HIS HEAD AROUND UNTILL IT POPS LOOSE!!!!
